The College of Imam Al-Kazim (PBUH) participated in the second meeting organized by the Ministry of Higher Education / Department of Research and Development with representatives of the University of Rome, Italy, through the electronic means of communication zoom to discuss ways to implement scientific cooperation between Iraqi and Italian universities.
The faculty was represented in the detailed meeting by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad al-Wadheh, and in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Assistant Professor Dr. Musa Radi Jaafar, and the Head of the Italian Language Department at the College of Languages, Assistant Professor Dr. Bahaa Najm, who is then authorized to negotiate with the Italian University In addition to the scientific assistant of Al-Mustansiriya University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Dia, the scientific assistant of the Central Technical University, Prof. Dr. Waddah Al-Tamimi, and the representatives of the Romanian University, both Dr. Ada Barbaro and Dr. Franco Ecosystem.
It is clear that the meeting discussed the technical framework for scientific cooperation between the two sides, and the means to implement it, as well as the attendees' agreement on a set of priorities, including identifying the specializations in Iraqi universities that will contribute to the implementation of this cooperation, and sending them to Italian universities, indicating that the meeting was discussed alongside This is the subject of the scientific evaluation of journals, theses and dissertations, the issue of grants and fellowships, the activation of the visiting professor program, and the holding of workshops and development courses and other scientific programs.
It is clear that the representatives of the University of Rome have expressed a great desire to open up to Iraqi universities and open horizons for cooperation, especially in the fields of humanities, management, economics, engineering and medical sciences. Implementation of scientific programs for the benefit of our scientific institution.
